  • Having previously opened 6 restaurants and bars in the tourist resort of Sihanoukville Cambodia, I was aware that there was a gap in the market for a wholesale business to service this ever expanding tourist destination. I contacted three of the largest wine and food suppliers in the country and negotiated a 10% discount on their products as well as a line of credit of several hundred thousand dollars in order to keep a large amount of stock so as to supply the area and surrounding islands.
  • This in turn cut delivery times for local businesses from 3-4 days to several hours. For this service, I also charged a premium service of an additional 15-30%.
  • Day to day functions that I oversaw, included stock taking, order taking, business development, staff management, sourcing of new suppliers and the general day to day running of this business.
  • Creation and maintenance of online shop and integration into POS system using wordpress
