• Review of the project scope of work, material specifications, and drawings for any conflict with the requirement of the Quality standards and advise the Engineering Dept to initiate the corrective actions with the client prior to commencement of work.
• After reviewing the P & ID release of process piping for prefabrication. Fit up check, routing check, check for inspection requirement like RT, SR & Hydro test as per the predawn loop diagram. After completion of testing, flushing of pipe lines to ensure inside cleanliness.
• Conducting Welder Qualification Test (WQT) as per ASME SEC IX,2013.
• Conducting 100 % Weld Visual Inspection as per Article 9,ASME SECV,2015 & ASME SEC VIII,2015, defect acceptance.
• Review of PWHT Chart, PMI Test Reports, and Hardness Test Reports.
• Maintaining welding inspection/NDT reports and record tracking.
• Inspection of joints fit up, alignment and dimensional accuracy as per drawing requirements.
• Interpretation of Isometric drawings and Weld maps.
• Review QAP, WPS & Inspection & Test Plans.
• Quality control documentation as per Quality inspection Procedure.
• Dealing with Client and TPI for Stage wise inspection.
• Prepare punch 'A' and Punch 'B' ensures the completion prior to Mechanical clearance.
• Inspecting Joint Configuration of Fit up prior to weld as per WPS.
• Prepare relevant hand over documents, Inspection report, Release note and protocols.
• Verification of Material traceability records and ensures that only acceptable materials are used.
• Cross functional knowledge development in analyzing site Safety condition and aware the team members accordingly.
• Maintaining healthy inter-departmental relations for smooth & safe operation & maintenance of Plant & Equipment.
• An effective team member with strong communication, coordination, analytical & troubleshooting skills in managing Execution activity in optical manner so as to achieve optimum productivity.
